A Day in St. Louis
By STL Fotologgers

On Saturday, August 30, 2003, four intrepid Fotologgers set out with their cameras to capture images of St. Louis. The result is a one-day snapshot of our fair city, as seen from different perspectives.

As Kurt Vonnegut has said, "Music makes practically everybody fonder of life than he or she would be without it." St. Louis is a music town. Really, every town is a music town if you know where to look. On August 30, I just happened to be in the right places.
At the Breakin' @ The Commonspace session, Nick Conceller (AKA DJ Origami) briefly surrendered his turntables to the experimentation of one of the kids who lives upstairs.
Back in town from Orange County, Adair rocked Mississippi Nights. I took this picture while hanging out backstage after Ulcer's set.

St. Louisans also love to eat.
My nephew, Alexander Niemeier, chows down.

Outside Soulard Market. I just liked the sense of space, the cobblestone sidewalk, the building in the background, and the person strolling along on the right.
Everything under the sun ... and more.
