Structures and Statues
By Mary Walton

I've often heard so much about the great architecture in major cities. Although I have had no formal art training, I think the architecture and statuary in St. Louis are fabulous. I love the multitude of old buildings with their variety of color and textures.

I am so moved by the old statues in St. Louis. There was so much attention to sensual details that, to this day, simply draw out emotion. St. Louis should embrace all of these treasures.

Mary Walton is a St. Louis photographer; photo notecards featuring her work are available for $3 each at The Commonspace, 615 N. Grand in Grand Center.
